As you think about your congregation, your ministry, and the ELCA, do you find a focus on "discipleship" (verses "membership") helpful to the task of life long Christian education?

Thanks, Marlane. Is the focus on discipleship part of your congregation’s emphasis? Is the term disciple used in your congregation? Is there any talk of membership? How do you think folks in your congregation see the reason and purpose of Christian education?
